Wooper usually lives in water. This variation is wearing a hat. However, it occasionally comes out onto land in search of food. On land, it coats its body with a gooey, toxic film. This Pokémon is usually seen open fields, beaches, ditches, streams, railways and airports. Also near bodies of water, including streams, rivers, lakes, beaches, oceans, or harbors.

Wooper belongs to the Wooper family.
