    It's almost identical. Thankfully it's at least somewhat different and a nice pearlescent shade.

Shiny Slowpoke

The shiny version of Slowpoke in Pokémon GO was released on 16-11-2020.
Slowpoke was originally discovered in the Kanto region. The main color of shiny Slowpoke is pink. The typing of this Pokémon is psychic and water. The Pokédex number of Slowpoke is #79. In the dex they call Slowpoke the Dopey Pokémon

SlowPoké uses its tail to catch prey by dipping it in water at the side of a river. However, this Pokémon often forgets what it's doing and often spends entire days just loafing at water's edge. This Pokémon is usually seen near the beach and within grassland locations. Also near bodies of water, including streams, rivers, lakes, beaches, oceans, or harbors.

Slowpoke belongs to the Slowpoke family.
