Shellder was originally discovered in the Kanto region. The main color of shiny Shellder is orange. The typing of this Pokémon is water. The Pokédex number of Shellder is #90. In the dex they call Shellder the Bivalve Pokémon

At night, this Pokémon uses its broad tongue to burrow a hole in the seafloor sand and then sleep in it. While it is sleeping, Shellder closes its shell, but leaves its tongue hanging out. This Pokémon is usually seen near bodies of water, including streams, rivers, lakes, beaches, oceans, or harbors.
