Shiny Raichu

It's nice but I would never know it was shiny if not for the sparkles.

good

kinda like the darker color on her. or maybe im just happy to be out of the pikachus

Oof brother

Well, it's not a huge change, but it's better than Shiny Pikachu. The increased contrast between the yellow cheeks and the orange body is nice. It looks more refined and "mature" to me than the normal-colored Raichu, like you'd be more likely to meet it at a fancy dinner party than its "common" counterpart. It's nice enough, but not mind-blowing.

Cheddar chee

I agree with @phlox. There could be a more drastic change.

3.5 this one is fine

Better than pikachu's shiny since the orange contrasts better with the lighter features, but it's still not noticeable enough for me.

It's hard to distinguish from a regular Raichu unless you have the comparison right next to it. That being said, I actually kind of like the shiny colors better than the original.

I like this shiny, it’s visually different from the original, the colors match Raichu and blend in with the others and from its thumbnail you can see the actual orange. However, I feel like they could’ve done more with the tail or even belly so I’m taking a point off for coverage

Recognizability: Fail

At a glance, looks very similar to the original.

Color balance: Pass

The color contrast is a bit on the line but it's not too bad.

Aesthetic quality: Pass

It's a bit chocolatey which goes really well with the orange.

Improvement over original: Pass

It's not terribly different enough in many ways but the darker gold-orange mixed with the chocolatey colors is a pretty good look. I think it's better than the OG.
