honestly i've always prefered clefairy. i don't hate pikachu, i just don't like it as much.

Rodents do like their cheese. Think small differences could have made it stand out more. Like maybe instead of just toning down ear color into icky green. Make the ear tips a nice blue that pops.

There are worse shinies out there imo. Makes me think of cheese.

It's ironic that the face of the franchise, one of if not the most recognizable pokemon, should be treated so poorly when it comes to such an iconic feature of the series. While the color of the shiny is admittedly no less pleasant than that of the original, it is barely distinguishable and simply uninteresting.

It's a terrible shiny because it looks bad because it's only a darker yellow. To hunt for it ain't too bad honestly. The change is big enough to spot in SV and that's saying quite a bit.
