also cute, but for the shiny the hat should be a more vibrant brown to reflect the hat of detective slowpoke

My favorite Pikachu with hat but there are way too many of them. Spent like 20 minutes trying to find normal pikachu

It's ironic that the face of the franchise, one of if not the most recognizable pokemon, should be treated so poorly when it comes to such an iconic feature of the series. While the color of the shiny is admittedly no less pleasant than that of the original, it is barely distinguishable and simply uninteresting. It would take a detective of the pedigree of Sherlock Holmes himself to discern why the hat does not change color either.
