    THIS is what they should have done with Pidgeotto. 4/5 I caught one of these, fully evolved, in PoGO. Stragest shiny I've caught thus far.

The shiny version of Pidgeot in Pokémon GO was released on 25-02-2019.
Pidgeot was originally discovered in the Kanto region. The main colors of shiny Pidgeot are gold, and yellow. The typing of this Pokémon is flying and normal. The Pokédex number of Pidgeot is #18. In the dex they call Pidgeot the Bird Pokémon

This Pokémon has a dazzling plumage of beautifully glossy feathers. Many Trainers are captivated by the striking beauty of the feathers on its head, compelling them to choose Pidgeot as their Pokémon. This Pokémon is usually seen flying around farms, open fields and parks. Also normal Pokémon are the most common and are found in every climate. Look within parking lots, cities, schools, parks and anywhere with a decent sized population.

Pidgeot belongs to the Pidgey family.
