The shiny version of Omastar in Pokémon GO was released on 24-05-2018.
Omastar was originally discovered in the Kanto region. The main colors of shiny Omastar are brown, and purple. The typing of this Pokémon is rock and water. The Pokédex number of Omastar is #139. In the dex they call Omastar the Spiral Pokémon

Omastar uses its tentacles to capture its prey. It is believed to have become extinct because its shell grew too large and heavy, causing its movements to become too slow and ponderous. This Pokémon is usually seen towns, parking lots and near streets or inside rock quarries. Also near bodies of water, including streams, rivers, lakes, beaches, oceans, or harbors.

Omastar belongs to the Omanyte family.
