Meltan was originally discovered in the Unknown region. The main colors of shiny Meltan are purple, and white. The typing of this Pokémon is steel. The Pokédex number of Meltan is #808. In the dex they call Meltan the Hex Nut Pokémon

It melts particles of iron and other metals found in the subsoil, so it can absorb them into its body of molten steel. This Pokémon is a mythical Pokémon, thereby it is not available to catch in the wild. It can only be caught by completing raids, events or by completing research tasks.

Meltan belongs to the Meltan family.
