orange, but a lame orange

Torn between three or four stars I might be being a bit harsh here. Would give 3.5 if half stars were implemented. Kind of a let down compared to its evolved forms. I respect it deviating from the pattern but ehhh. I don't think it'd look good in pink either though, its patterning just isn't as wild. Orange is probably the best you could go with for such a plain design. I might not like the orange because it looks too much like Charmander.

For an alternate color suggestion, since it's the live coal pokemon, it could be interesting if the body was white like ash and the tummy flame was orange? Or blue with a red tummy for it being a blue footed booby.

It’s certainly orange. Nothing special here, but at least it doesn’t look worse than the original. Still, yawn.

I think a golden flame is pretty badass in my perspective.

goldeny-orange dont work for me, but conceptually it makes sence as another portrait of the flames, so pretty cool idea
