This Pokémon is usually seen found in neighborhoods, residential areas and dry climates. Also open fields, beaches, ditches, streams, railways and airports.
Camerupt belongs to the Numel family.

Its cheeky stealing Umbreon’s colors but I don’t even care it looks great! Black just makes sense for a volcano pokemon, and would give great contrast for when it erupts. As an alternate color suggestion they could have made it sandy/yellow/brown like a natural camel but I’m happier with the more fantasy direction.
And because I forgot to mention in Numel’s review: Colors looked better before the transition to 3D. The blue patch was more striking and similar to Camerupt’s blue rings. Not sure why its been muted so much in 3D models c’est la be.
