It lures prey close by dancing and waving its arm caps, which resemble Poké Balls, in a swaying motion. This Pokémon is usually seen near grassy areas, such as golf courses, farms, gardens, or residential areas. Also near ponds, marshes, lakes, cities, parks and industrial areas.

Amoonguss belongs to the Foongus family.
