Shiny Alakazam

Odd, but better than Kadabra.

The pink color is not to be desired

Recognizable as a shiny, unlike its previous evos. I like the pink, I just wish they had changed the yellow as well. Maybe keep the more pale yellow from the previous shinies and apply it here?

why couldn't they have done this for the entire line - oh wait

they did, they just went back on it later...

Recognizability: Pass

Now that the armor is hot pink, it's hard to not notice the shiny.

Color balance: Pass

Contrast is good, in fact it's LOUD.

Aesthetic quality: Pass

I'll be honest. Not a fan of the pink that much. However it does work with the golden skin and it allows it to have a bit of a psychedelic energy to it, which works on a psychic type. Not only that but it's easier to notice that Alakazam even has armor now. The ruddy brown of before just didn't do it much justice.

Enjoyment over original: Pass

I do think it's a bit more fun than the original, but that's main because it reduced the blandness.

The previous evolutions are forgiven. Behold Alakazam. (What happened to its tail though?)

He has pink clothes! Yes I like this I think he is happy with these clothes so the pink color is beautiful with yellow

I really like the pink but I think the body should have been grey like the spoons.
