Barely noticeable as a shiny, AND it makes the cheeks stand out significantly less. This outfit is particularly bad for this shiny, because it blends in so much

Looks very close to the original.

Color balance: Fail

The contrast is much, much worse with many of pika's features becoming obscured.

Aesthetic quality: Pass

The gold color doesn't look bad. It's a nice idea.

Improvement over original: Fail

It's just a darker yellow pikachu with harder to notice features. Not great.

Since I already rated Pikachu's shiny, I'll just rate how good it looks with the props.

I love libre Pikachu so much, but unfortunately, they ruined it with the shiny. The color of Pikachu blends in too much with the costume. Part of me thinks it looks good but the other part doesn't like it. I think maybe I just don't like it now because my eyes hurt a ton xd
