It's noticeably distinct from the original

Color balance: Pass

The shift to green is a clean transition and it leaves the balance and contrast intact

Aesthetic quality: Pass

Some note the alien vibes it gives a creature like Mewtwo, or the mutant ones. I think aesthetically it works fine.

Enjoyment over original: Fail

I think this shiny looks good but there's something so special about the original that I just can't enjoy this one more even if I think it is a competently done shiny.

COULD do better but OH MY GOD IT IS SO GOD **** AWSOME btw the reason why it is green is because it is like a mutation or experiment gone wrong and those are green in movies and shows

Silly vibrant green doesn't fit Mewtwo at all. I'd make the tail grey

Cool imo ! fun little alien colors, kind of like them more than original. But I see why people arent into it, the could do bit more of a dramatic change

I would hope the most powerful pokemon would have a more inspired shiny.

The green on the tail looks okay, but I would've liked it to turn blue instead to reference mew.

It's alright. Not big on the green or that Mewtwo's tail is the only thing that changed but it could be way worse.

Pretty acceptable, but can't really compare to some of the other legendary shinies. Would've been a cool opportunity for a black or orange or something.
