Shiny Mega Pidgeot

This shiny is certainly noticeably different, and hardly a poorly chosen color palette, but unlike the pokemon variant itself, it hardly feels like a mega evolution. Pidgeot loses much of its vibrancy and personality as the color seems to drain out of it in this shiny form. While this is partially compensated for by the cleverness of moving closer towards the real world inspiration's appearance, it is undeniable that this shiny form is left less visually interesting than its standard form.

The purple boosts its rating

I love the purple, this is the accent I wanted. But it's made me realize I don't like gold shinies much.

Ok better than regular pidgeot

First time seeing it and I would much rather have mega shiny grachomp

And as good as this one is i just can't give it 5 stars

i LOVE the color combination of the yellow and purple. the purple especially adds so much more visual interest than pidgeot. i feel like some blue, like an indigo or cornflower, would add a bit more and make it feel more connected to the base form however.

I like the dark blue/purple tips but regular is still way better
