The shiny version of Mega Gyarados in Pokémon GO was released on 09-02-2021.
Mega Gyarados was originally discovered in the Kanto region. The main color of shiny Mega Gyarados is red. The typing of this Pokémon is dark and water. The Pokédex number of Mega Gyarados is #130-Mega. In the dex they call Mega Gyarados the Atrocious Pokémon

It zooms out of the water at Mach speeds. Even large ships caught in its path are split cleanly in two! This Pokémon is usually seen found in dark places, such as movie theaters, cemeteries and landmarks. Also near bodies of water, including streams, rivers, lakes, beaches, oceans, or harbors.

Mega Gyarados belongs to the Magikarp family.
