The orangish look definitely stands out from the non-shiny.

Color balance: Fail

Docking a point on this one because of the beak vs mouth contrast. It's abysmal.

Aesthetic quality: Fail

It's all fleshy. Ewwwwww

Honestly pretty good, but can’t live up to Psyduck. My shiny Psyduck in SV has an everstone for this reason.

First shiny I ever caught and almost gaslit myself into not believing it

Just like Dragonite, the only redemption can be a good shiny for a possbile MEGA GOLDUCK. Orange? Maybe? Or black or white

Well this is a disappointment because the colors don't seem to suit him very much unlike Psyduck

Should have turned gold like in his name and to call back to psyduck.

So bad it makes psyduck’s A+ shiny worse by association. At least invert to yellow and match the switch or else keep the lighter blue come on :(((

The dark blue is a great improvement. I wish the red was a bit deeper, and they could have done *something* with the gem. 2.5, rounded up just because of the blue

Giving it's beak a tip color was NOT a good choice

kinda ruins the fun of having a shiny psyduck tbh, they should have kept the colours
