Shiny Gloom

What's the deal with leaves always being brown (see eggecutor, vileplume) this needs to stop. It looks sickly.

Definitely noticeable as a shiny, I just really don't like these colors lmao

Not the worst shiny, and it makes sense for the pokemon but it just isn't pleasant.

3.5 or low 4 - I feel like this shiny definitely 'fits' the pokemon. And given the limitations of the original games, makes sense its just a weird hue shift. Still, they managed to make it look different from the original and fairly accurate to the real world plant. Personally I think I liked the RSE version best where its less green, more of an earthy brownish green.

If I were to revamp this shiny, I think I'd make either the leaves or the buds darker, almost black. And the accent color would be orange. Looking up rafflesia flower buds they are pretty Strange to look at.

Just like oddish, it's easily recognizable from the non-shiny version.

Color contrast is good.

Aesthetic quality: Pass

It's based on a family of plants that smell like rotting meat. It has a poisonous feeling of decay to it which is just wonderful. Great aesthetic.

Enjoyment over original: Pass

I think it looks like it needs treatment, but its colors are still beautiful, just like Oddish

The buds on its head should have stayed red or gone a pink but not green. Anyways the body and leaves still look okay.

I mean, it is weed. (literally though??)
