Shiny Espeon

I personally am not a fan of espeon but its shiny to me is better than the normal colors. It is not anywhere near the worst eeveelution shiny(that's you leafeon) but it is ok. Still could be better and maybe with new scarlet and violet textures(if it gets them) it will increase in popularity and my favorites list.

3.5 - Rounded down since I'm not a huge fan of it. To its benefit, this is unmistakably a shiny pokemon. The bright emerald green is completely different than the pale pink/purple. It is a bit disappointing none of the other colors change though.

For my tweak sugestions: If it is in fact based on Carbunclo as Bulbapedia suggests, the red gem may be less negotiable, but could at least turn a darker garnet red or a more orange coal red. I like the idea of it being a more 'firefly' green if it has to be green. I actually really enjoy the shade of green it is in the original GSC sprite. And I wish the eyes had changed to a sun like yellow (or perhaps sunrise orange or sky blue).

For a full color overhaul I feel like it should be the 'sun' counterpart to Umbreon's moon. It could be all white with yellow eyes and a more orange gem. You might get a similar effect making it yellow. All in all the green we got isn't the worst but it does feel arbitrary in a way I'm not sure suits this pokemon.

A wonderful punchy change, the green feels rich and intentional as opposed to a lot of the washed-out green shinies.

it needs to be put in quarantine

I used to hate this one, but with age comes wisdom. And with wisdom comes understanding that this Espeon looks like a typical green alien, which is extremely dope. The world wasn’t ready.

I lile Espeon. But neither the normal pinkish color nor the shiny bright green color. Would have been awesome if the shiny was grey.
