Ehh its decent but the have done pink to many times.

Love chimchar and its shiny, but it would be 5 stars if it was more of a darker pink and changed the flame to blue

Its visible but only one part of the palette changes. Its not a bad palette but still very similar, so feels lackluster. As a previous comment mentioned, its shiny prior to the transition to 3D had a darker red color which I think what was personally more successful than this lighter shade. What really would have helped would be matching the flame color to the new pink. Or preferably- changing the fire color to a even more drastic color.

If I were to pick colors for it, I think white fur and flame would be pretty cool, perhaps a red face like those hot spring monkeys. A black and/or yellow palette would also be neat.

I feel like it was more red in other gens, but here it’s.. pink? This specific iteration of the shiny isn’t great, but the bold red it had before was a 5 star shiny

He could be another one of them black shinies, or even a bronze one to make it look like real monkey, instead ho got fishy pink... sad monke noises

Despite being one of my all-time favorites, Chimchar has a rather lackluster shiny in my opinion. Perhaps if they made it a more maroon color than a salmon color?
