    Having a plant themed Pokémon turn greener just makes perfect sense to me. I do wish its eyes became yellow though.

Bulbasaur was originally discovered in the Kanto region. The main color of shiny Bulbasaur is green. The typing of this Pokémon is grass and poison. The Pokédex number of Bulbasaur is #1. In the dex they call Bulbasaur the Seed Pokémon

This Pokémon is usually seen near grassy areas, such as golf courses, farms, gardens, or residential areas. Also near ponds, marshes, lakes, cities, parks and industrial areas.
