Shiny Abra

originally, this shiny had pink armour like alakazam but was changed to...this...

Recognizability: Fail

It looks very similar to the original and is hard to tell apart.

Color balance: Fail

The shiny weakens the color contrast and hides features such as the mouth/snout portion of the face.

Aesthetic quality: Pass

Much of the aesthetics are meh, but passable enough. In particular the armor has faint purple notes which don't show up on the modern models as well but exist in earlier gens.

Enjoyment over original: Fail

It's just eh. It's not particularly fun or entertaining.

Another faint change, but one that is slightly more pleasant than others.

I don't think it's good.

The grey should have been pink like in alakazam, I also think the body would look better in grey to reflect the spoons in kadabra and alakazams designs.

I love abra but it’s just like its got too much sun cream all over it

i dont like how little changes, but i do think the brighter shade is nicer than the original

If you look veeery closely you can see that the yellow got a liiittle lighter. I hate shinies where the color just changes so little that you can't even tell apart which is which in game.

I wish it was a different color than a slightly lighter yellow.

I don't mind it too much. It's not that different but it's alright. At least I can tell the difference.
